SunSand is installed by power washing to clean the surface, allowing the concrete to dry thoroughly and then masking the surrounding area. The Sundek Finish coat is rolled or sprayed on with the sand or glass beads are either mixed in the product or broadcast through a special hopper gun. Once the surface is dry, personal belongings can be restored and the surface can be walked on, usually the next day. Because SunSand does not have a cementatious coat of material it is somewhat limited on the surface it can be applied to.
